Need an Official Record?
Use the custodian that holds the specific Elbert County record:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal records and personal history review: contact the Colorado Bureau of Investigation
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Elbert County Sheriff's Office
- Statewide name checks: use the CBI Internet Criminal History Check System
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Record sealing or juvenile expungement: file with the court that handled the case
